Why do you want to write, Jackie? Well, you know that hole in your forehead where the blood comes out? Writers actually breathe through that hole as well, and if you let it close over (due to, say, lack of writing) then I’m sorry, but that’s it – you’re a goner.

Well, with SYTYCW coming to a close very soon, I have to admit I'm feeling very much like you. It's the roller coaster ride that's so hard to take. One day you're up, the next you're down. And that question of why oh why? Well, because we love it too much to quit :)

Hopefully everything else will get better fast too. xo

I’m sorry to hear about the near miss on the contest. But remember if one door closes another opens, and if not you need to get your axe out and make one ;-)
