Okay, I know they’re Harlequin Romance and not Harlequin Modern/Presents, but Liz Fielding has written some awesome sheik stories and I definitely remember a Sophie Weston HR with a sheik that was wryly amused a lot of the time.
And being wry to hide his dark pain sounds delicious. It sounds a bit like Francis Lymond as a matter of fact 😉

I’ve never tried a Sheik myself. Maybe it’s got something to do with having lived in Saudia Arabia as a child – kinda put me off – sorry!

Different is exciting, and will no doubt keep your writing fresh. I haven't tackled something I once swore against (yet), although for the record, I've sworn off amnesia (just don't think I could pull it off). So we'll see what happens there...

Gina Rinehard is a mining magnate, so an oil baroness is realistic enough.

Hi, Jacs 🙂 Haven’t tackled a Sheik story yet, but I did have a very alpha Lebanese boyfriend once. If you need a few Arabic terms of endearment, I’m your gal. They still make a little wobbly in the knees – but don’t tell DH or I might have some explaining to do 😉
