Thanks Aideen and Lorraine. I did work hard on this ms - Anna told me I should be proud of it which is a lovely, lovely thing to say.

But still work to do on it. Luckily, I totally expected that to be the case. I'm just hoping I can manage the revisions the way they want.

I'm relaxing, Lorraine! Furiously relaxing. :-)

Congratulations, that's simply wonderful news. To know you work so hard and to see it pay off must be the best feeling in the world.
I suspect Lucy won't wear the hat of the newest Modern Heat writer for long...but I'm sure she'll be pleased to hand it over now that she's secured her place with Mills & Boon.

Thanks Suzanne and thanks for your confidence Lucy! I guess whether I sail through them depends how big the revisions are – I’m thinking they’ll be big.
But hey, can’t do anything about that yet so yep, am going to be trying to relax until I get them.

Another note to self – must not pull apart my ms UNTIL I hear from Anna. 😉

Thanks Rach! You sound like me ‘no, it’s going to be an outright rejection for sure’. 🙂 Doubts are natural at this stage but I reckon they’ll love yours – you may be snapped up instantly like Lucy!
Am hoping for a quick reply for you – I’m sure they will get right on it.
They haven’t put your chapter up after all so maybe they’re holding back until you sell??

That's fantastic news. Now I'm gonna look a right loser when they reject mine :) Yep... not feeling all that positive at this stage. Just need a few more hours, then I'll have finished my self-imposed revisions. Will let it sit then send off next Friday.

Hope I get put out of my misery as quickly as you do.
