Like you I thought the heroine’s conflict was enough and I didn’t want to drag the story down but… nope! It’s *always* a learning process. I don’t know of a single writer who feels like they finally get it. Each book feels like a miracle. Good luck with this one. It sound promising!

Because it can be hard to find and it’s v specific to different characters. I love revisions, because I think each time I have them, I come out stronger.
